Life with Hollie

Hollie was born on May 30, 2006. She is so much fun and she changes everyday. I have created this so family and friends from far and wide can keep up with how she is doing. And because I don't want to change my whole website we will pretend that this site is called Life With Hollie and Jeremy. Jeremy joined us on October 13, 2008. I am sure we are going to have a blast raising these two.

Happy Birthday Kennedy (A week late isn't bad)

I can't believe it was three years ago you blessed us with your beautiful smile (okay, so it took a little longer for her to smile, but I smiled right away). It seems like only yesterday we were waiting patiently for you - and now you are three - time sure flies!

We all had a great time at Chuck e Cheese. This is Kennedy, Hollie and Emily learning how to drive.

Hollie finally got into the moving cars and didn't freak out - she wasn't sure at first but once she got the hang of it we couldn't get her off. It sure was cute at first but by the end of the day I hated those cars.

It's that time of year again. Pumpkin patch time. We went to the Pumpkin patch to let the girls pick out their own pumkin and try to get some pictures of them together - as you can see our plan didn't work. I don't think we will ever get them together for a decent picture.

Hollie also carved her first pumpkin tonight (Mommy carved, Hollie tried to help clean). She didn't really like the sticky stringy stuff on her hands, but she loved scraping with the big spoon. She did this at Grandma Brenda's house, tomorrow we will carve another punpkin at Gramma and Grandpa's (Meema and Peepa's) house with Kennedy, this should prove to be very interesting, hopefully we will get some good pictures of that to share.
Halloween is quickly approaching and we should be able to get some good pictures to show the world our cute little goblins. Stay tuned!

Well what an exciting few weeks we have had. Hollie is getting more and more independant everyday. She is talking so well she can tell you what she want and when she wants it. We have even started potty training a little. She loves her potty, but she loves to wipe even more. I think she potties just so she can wipe.

The picture with sunglasses cracks me up - she wears all sunglasses around her neck like that - her favorites are Mr. Potato Heads - they fit just right. I don't have a pic of that yet, but it's pretty funny.

I have started swimming again to get back in shape and she gets to come with (gramma (meema) comes to watch her) and ahe showed us last Thursday that she can swim too. No kidding, she stepped off the steps and we jumped to catch her and she went under, popped up and started kicking, head up and everything. I just looked at her in aww. I can't believe some of the things she can do. I don't have any pics yet because my camera has decided not to work, but I will get some soon. These pics are a few weeks old, but you can see how big she is getting. Most people don't believe she is only 16 months old, especially when she opens her mouth - she talks non-stop. Sorry it has taken me so long to update this - Shannon and Michelle, I don't know how you do it. You are supermoms:)

This is our bedtime ritual. Hollie has to wrapped in this exact blanket in mommies chair with her milk. No other blanket will do - this isn't the blanket she sleeps with either - It's 100 degrees outside and she has to be wrapped in this one - the hottest blanket in the house. Who knows - Maybe she inherited something from Jack afterall:)
She also has a great fashion sense. (Not unlike her mom -haha) She is so independent that we let her wear what she wants (because we don't want to listen to her scream), but this was a great outfit. Gramma's hopital sock and headband (yuck) and Kennedy's shoes. Once I cam ehome and she had on a purlpe shirt no pants red socks and black platimun shoes - she looked great. What will these kids think of next??
Stay tuned.
