Life with Hollie

Hollie was born on May 30, 2006. She is so much fun and she changes everyday. I have created this so family and friends from far and wide can keep up with how she is doing. And because I don't want to change my whole website we will pretend that this site is called Life With Hollie and Jeremy. Jeremy joined us on October 13, 2008. I am sure we are going to have a blast raising these two.

Part 2
(see previous blog)
We went to the Texas State Aquarium for Labor day weekend. It was really crowded but lots of fun. There was a dolphin show and lots of fish everywhere, I actually saw things I had never seen before.

And around the middle of August Jeremy started walking. I don't know why my children feel the need to be over achievers, but they are and I love it. He is into everything and Hollie loves that he can "play" better with her now.

So, see, it's not that I have just been a big blogger slacker (not really) but we have been really busy enjoying every moment. I love life right now.

Okay everyone - here is an updat of everthing we have been doing.

In July we took the kids to a musuem and they had an exhibit called Grossology. We got to learn all about the science of bodily functions. Ben and I we very entertained with this, Hollie was kind of freaked out about a lot of it. Here she is learning the anatomy of a burp.

And this really scared her, the nose actually made breathing noises.

We spent lots of time with grandpa and gramma. Grandpa is always making something good for Hollie to try to sneak, mainly cookies.

Hollie started dance classes, which at first I really thought she was going to walk right in there and be a prima ballerina, do everything perfect nad in the gym they would be asking me if they they could move her closer to an olympic coach. Well things didn't exactly turn out like that but she is getting better and I am coming to terms that she probably won't be getting any scholarchips anytime soon, but she rally likes it so, really, who cares.

We finally broke down and bought her a helmet for her bike so she could ride it outside - she loves it. Until then she really thought her bike was an inside toy. I won't mind it as much when the weather turns cooler, but right now it's too hot to do much of anything outside.

We had some surprise visitors (well I knew they were coming), but anyways, we really enjoyed spending time with Jen and Dan and hope they can make it down here again soon, Hollie still asks when they are coming over.

I finally broke down and traded in my Camaro --for get this -- a MINIVAN!! Motherhppd finally got the best of me. This was our first road trip in it. It has a DVD player in it - Hollie loves it.

I will post pictures of our tip in another post because the pictures in this one are getting mixed up everytime I add new ones. So see next post!
