Life with Hollie

Hollie was born on May 30, 2006. She is so much fun and she changes everyday. I have created this so family and friends from far and wide can keep up with how she is doing. And because I don't want to change my whole website we will pretend that this site is called Life With Hollie and Jeremy. Jeremy joined us on October 13, 2008. I am sure we are going to have a blast raising these two.

Do you know that when I started this blog I planned on being a lot more responsible about it. Well, obviously I am slacking badly.

So much has happened since my last post. Where do I start.....

Halloween was so much fun this year. Hollie got to run around with Kennedy and collect candy - luckily most of the people sit in their driveways now as the first house we actually had to ring the doorbell, when the people answered Hollie ran into their house so we didn't do that again, only driveway trick or treating. She got to be a Chicago Bears cheerleader again because it was about 90 degrees as her costume was hot (you would think I would know better).

She even got to carve her own pumpkin. Well I did the carving she got to help clean, boy was that a mess.

I started a new job right after Thanksgiving (which I will blame for a big part of my absence on here). I work for TSA (a division of the Department of Homeland Security), I work at the airport where we now have three family members - our family has the Valley International Airport pretty much covered - Monica at Southwest Airlines, Lisa at Continental and me at TSA.

Thanksgiving was great - we all had a great time.

Christmas sure was hectic. I am not used to having to budget time to do things. Everything snuck up on my like you wouldn't believe. I haven't even sent out my cards yet, but I will don't worry you will all get them eventually. Hollie got a lot of cool things for Christmas - I am really loving playing with them all. She got fun toys and lots of cute clothes. She finally got the hang of tearing open presents, but sure was disappointed the day after Chrismas when she ran into the living room and there wasn't anything to open. Oh well in a few months she will get to do it again with her birthday.

New Years was great. We decided that we would all stay in and we went to mom and dads and played cards. We spent the night all together - kids and all - it was really nice. I have to say right here congratulations to Jennifer for getting engaged on New Years Eve. I hope Dan knows what he is getting himself into (kidding - he will love us!!!).
Last but not least Hollie started school this past Monday. I guess she likes it - her best friend Emily is in her class and Kennedy is right down the hall if she needs her.
Okay, that pretty much brings me up to date - sorry for the long delay but I can only post when Hollie is asleep, and lately I have been asleep when she is, so I hope to be more efficient with this blogging thing and keep everyone more up to date.
