Life with Hollie

Hollie was born on May 30, 2006. She is so much fun and she changes everyday. I have created this so family and friends from far and wide can keep up with how she is doing. And because I don't want to change my whole website we will pretend that this site is called Life With Hollie and Jeremy. Jeremy joined us on October 13, 2008. I am sure we are going to have a blast raising these two.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEREMY!!!!

I can't believe that my baby boy is 1 year old already. We had a very productive day. I decided to take the kids to McDonald's for lunch and look who was there. Hollie thought it was great - Jeremy - Not so much. He cried when I walked two feet away to take a picture. They sang Happy Birthday and gave him and Hollie cookies - it was a great lunch. We finished up the day at Chuck E. Cheese. I really think I have more fun there than the kids do, so it's always an option when they have been good. It makes for a great way to spend the day.

We had his party on Saturday. The weather was beautiful - it couldn't have been better. Jeremy was quite the trooper until right before cake time. He passed out cold in his highchair and we had to wake him up to sing to him. It took a few minutes of whining but he eventually came around.

And boy was he glad we woke hime up. Who would want to miss this fun? I guess boys are just messier than boys. As I think back to Hollie's 1st I don't remember her making quite the mess, of course she didn't have an 8 inch blue cake to destroy though.

It took a little longer than I expected but once he got the hang of things, he went to town. I will be scraping blue icing out of his ears for the next year.

Hollie thought it was very funny that he got to make such a mess, but she wouldn't get too close

I apparently didn't take a lot of pictures of this ginormous slide that we rented, but it was so much fun. Luckily there aren't very many pictures of me on it - I think my mom has some, but we don't need to post them here.

We all had such a good time and can't wait to see what the next year has in store for us. I love (almost) every minute of it.
