Life with Hollie

Hollie was born on May 30, 2006. She is so much fun and she changes everyday. I have created this so family and friends from far and wide can keep up with how she is doing. And because I don't want to change my whole website we will pretend that this site is called Life With Hollie and Jeremy. Jeremy joined us on October 13, 2008. I am sure we are going to have a blast raising these two.

So much has been happening, I forgot that other people might be interested in it also.

Hollie is obsessed with Birthdays, I guess we have been having a lot of them lately, she has made her own Birthday cake for herself that she carries around and sings Happy Birthday to herself or whoever else is there. She came up with this all by herself one night, I was so impressed.

I hope everyone had a great Easter - we sure did. Hollie still wants to find eggs everyday and the Easter Bunny is her new best friend. At least we got over Santa Clause for awhile.

All the kids had a great time hunting eggs and cracking them over each others heads.

Hollie also got some exciting news about a month ago - she found out she is going to be a big sister. She can't wait and neither can we. We should be welcoming our new little monkey in late October which kind of messes up my plans for the end of the year festivities - but it will be worth it. I am really bummed that I might miss Jens wedding - I say "might" because I will hopefully still find a way to make it. I might be driving with a week old baby, but I still very much want to find a way to be there. Only time will tell.

Since I have been seriously slacking on my blogger board here, I have neglected to announce several important events.
Lets start with the first:
We welcomed Karson Lane Dyer into the world on Feb. 26. He is adorable and looks just like Kennedy did when she was born only with more hair and bigger feet.
We look forward to the many adventures he is sure to bring to our family.

Next was Grandpa's (pampa's) Birthday. I had to work but I dropped Hollie off to entertain him throughout the day - I'm sure they had a great time. She sure loves her Pampa!

Last was Daddy's birthday yesterday. We went out to grandma's house for cake and ice cream and hung out with his family and then came home watched half a movie and went to bed - Hollie spent the night at grandma's and we were too tired to even go out. Sad isn't it. Ben went out the night before with his friends though, so he had a good birthday.
This was what I decided he wanted for his birthday:

I was baby sitting the other little girl for a friend of mine (for those who know her it is Emily). They were the best behaved kids, I am thinking of having her move in if Hollie will always be as good as she was yesterday.
Anyways, I decided that Ben needed this trailer since he keeps telling me how he can't ride his bike anymore because I work nights and he would have to take Hollie. Well now he can. I pulled the girls around the front yard and they loved it. I think Hollie will be scared of it at first though. She's quite the chicken.

Well now that everyone is caught up, I will try to be more up to date (I know, I keep saying that) and who knows what the future will hold for our family. This year is promising to be an interesting one.
