Life with Hollie

Hollie was born on May 30, 2006. She is so much fun and she changes everyday. I have created this so family and friends from far and wide can keep up with how she is doing. And because I don't want to change my whole website we will pretend that this site is called Life With Hollie and Jeremy. Jeremy joined us on October 13, 2008. I am sure we are going to have a blast raising these two.

Well Happy New Year to All!!

Hey I'm only a month late -- not to bad if I don't say so myself. Well Monica updated so I figured I should do the same before you all start talking badly of me too.

We have had a very interesting last three months. Having two kids is definitly more work, but not more than I thought it would be. I am actually quite pleased with myself for handling this so well. I am going to ramble through this post to include things you might be interested in that have happened so bear with me and try not to get to confused.

We had a great Christmas. Santa brough Hollie lots of stuff and, although I still don't think she understands who Santa is, she seemed surprised. And because he brought Hollie things he also had to bring Jeremy things - he had a much better first Christmas than Hollie did.

The girls got to make Christmas cookies at Gramma and Granpa's house.
Didn't they do a great job. They are supposed to be snowmen - close enough.

Jeremy began smiling right after Thanksgiving and now it is hard to wipe that adorable grin off his face, and I love it.

Who remembers the bunny pj's from A Christmas Story? I saw these and had to get them for Hollie - She loves them and wants to wear them every night. As most of you know it does not get cold enough here so I have to hide them a lot.

Hollie is becoming more and more independant every day, some mornings I have to wait 5 minutes for her to strap herself into her carseat, it's easier than listening to her scream. She seems to do a lot more of that these days also. She also has to dress herself in the mornings. She gets the clothes and brings them to me to help her put on - the only thing she hasn't mastered is the shirt - but she is getting closer. She comes up with some interesting things to wear sometimes. She wanted to go to the store like this one night. She reluctantly got to stay home.

Hollie is really becoming a great big sister. She has finally decided that Jeremy isn't going away so she may as weel learn to live with him. She always has to sit by him and give him his paci if he cries. Luckily we have enough seats for them both.

Jeremy is becoming quite the big boy himself. He is by far bigger than Hollie ever was weighing in at 16lbs for his 2 month appointment. He has the fattest legs and cheeks that you just want to squeeze. He is a very happy baby also. He really doesn't cry much, unless he is hungry - which is always, but he is quite content with himself and loves to laugh.
Well there you have it. A quick recap since I was here last. I would love to say that I will be back really soon - but seriously - who would believe me. I only vow to TRY to get better at this and TRY to update more often, but I'm not making any promises - you will just have to check periodically - and it will be a surprise.
